Mushrooms Painted on Mushroom Paper

This project combines two of my favorite creative processes: papermaking and painting. I handmade paper using Dryad's Saddle mushrooms, then illustrated a variety of fungi on the finished sheets using different artistic mediums. The result is a celebration of mushrooms in both the substrate and the subject.
